Throughout the years, funds generated from the sales at the Waukesha Service Club Thrift Shop and an annual fundraiser have supported programs for Waukesha County organizations. The Club grants money to these community non-profit agencies based on the recommendations from the Club’s Evaluation and Finance Committee and with approval of the general membership.  Since 1989, more than $1,887,959 has been given back to the community from revenue earned through Thrift Shop sales and the Annual “Inspired to Serve Luncheon and Fundraiser.

To understand the impact of these dollars, some of the local agencies that have received grants are listed below.

The Waukesha Service Club Family Assistance program provides monetary or clothing assistance to meet immediate individual and family needs. Clients are referred to Waukesha Service Club through social service agencies. Funding for this program is generated through the annual Club fund raiser.  Since 1989, more than $300,788 has been given to support the needs of individuals and families.

Proceeds from the Gift Shop are given to the ProHealth Care Foundation for current projects supported by the Club’s membership.   Since 1989, $2,303,363 has been pledged to the ProHealth Care Foundation.  Some of the ProHealth Care projects that have been supported include those listed below.
